Directional hit rate asks “did the stock go the way Kronos said?” — and Kronos is systematically bearish, so we expect that to look bad. Relative hit rate asks the question we actually trade: “did the names we picked beat the basket?” This view is how we Socratically learn whether the tool earns its keep over just holding an index.
